A typical, highly able son of Montender. Jumping abilities and form are excellent. He also has a first-class gait, great rideability, and outstanding character.
His father, Montender, is amongst the most spectacular jumpers in recent years. Marco Kutscher became the 2003 German champion with him, he was a member of the Olympic team in Athens, where he delivered the best results within the German team in the team competition and won a bronze medal in solo competition. He was celebrated as the double European champion in 2005.
 
His lineage on the mother's side is also very interesting through Blut des Cantus. Amongst his successful descendants are Calido, Come On, and Cantus. Monte Cain's mother has already birthed international horses like Lord Cantus, who became S-champion at 7 and is currently very successful internationally. Further, the mother, Candela, has issued the successful S horse Lord Westerfield, and Lapplie is the full sister of international horse La Lu. Pirouette von Pilot is the full sister of Almox Princess, who was successful under Ralf Schneider and Ludger Beerbaum.
 
Monte Cain's blood is also assured with top gene donors Landadel and Pilot.
We are very proud of Monte Cain. His gait, rideability and character are exceptional, his jumping abilities and form are outstanding. He was the decisive champion in 2011 in the 30-TT in Münster-Handorf with stiff competition.
 
After his major victory with a score of 8.6, Monte Cain qualified for the 2013 DKB national championship.
